Our little family is still doing so well. Things are settling down and Emerson is fitting right in to his place in our family. He is such a good boy! Pablo loves Emerson...a little too much sometimes. And Alex is beginning to love Emerson too!
Emerson is amazing. We've had 4 nights of baths in a row now where he hasn't screamed. I love him. I love that he hears my voice and tries to find me. I love that he is so beautiful. I love that he puts his lips almost in a kissy face just because. I love that he cries when he farts. I love that he smiles when his tummy rumbles. I love that he sits with me and lets me think I'm funny while I sing to him or tell him stories. I love that he is still so snuggly and just needs his Mom. I love that when he is fussy most times I can fix it.
I am so happy to be a Mama. It's an amazing feeling to have my own son. Being a step Mom is a blessing, but having my own is just so different.
