Return to Yourself

Your only constant is that you are you, that you have a core of truth within you and a path to walk, and if you allow your core of truth to tell you which fork in the road to take, if you allow that internal compass to tell you which mountain to climb, then you will do well indeed and have a fulfilling, interesting life. ........ You are everything you need to be, just as you are, right now. You are the center of your own life. You are the beacon that shines and shows the way. Be glad when others walk beside you, enjoy their company, connect as closely and deeply as you can, but always, always, shine your own light and walk your own path and allow them to do the same.

Shine out and show who you are, so that people who are looking for someone exactly like you can find you, do not allow setbacks or even major betrayals to dampen your shine and your being!

Post of Pictures

I have no excuse for not blogging--just busy or lazy I guess! In the last 2 months we've taken the kids to This Is The Place Park, Juan, Emerson and I went to Colorado for my cousins wedding, and that is about it!
Everything is still going well for us. The boys are back as of the end of May. They are living with us full time again, and it's working out well.
Emerson is growning like a weed. He is cutting his first 2 teeth on the bottom. He is 21lbs of pure love! He loves giving kisses-especially to his Nana! He is rolling over, chattering up a storm, eating cereal, and just being his usual happy self.
Juan and I are still working lots and enjoying life!

We took the kids to This Is the Place Park---Emerson was bundled up most of the time!

Just a little update on us....

Yea...um..it's again been a month since I updated this blog! I am terrible at this! Here goes nothing.....
At the beginning of April Alex and Pablo went to live with their Mom in California. We were sad to see them go, but it was their decision and they both seem to be doing well. We talk to them a few times a week, and try to keep them in line!
On April 10th one of my best friends in the whole world passed away-my grandpa. He had been sick probably most of my life, but he was still the most amazing grandpa a girl could ask for. I miss him more than words can say! The only good part of all of that was I FINALLY got to see all of my siblings in one place at one time. Everyone was able to come home for the funeral and it was so nice to be able to be with all of them at such a hard time. My grandpa taught me so much-and I have always looked up to him. When I first found out I was pregnant I would beg my grandpa to just wait long enough to see my son. And he did! Emerson and grandpa share the same birthday, and I was able to use Grandpa's name for Emerson's middle name. It meant so much to me! I am grateful to know that heaven is real-and that my grandpa is just waiting for me to one day be with him again...but in the mean time..it's sure hard!
Emerson is still the cutest thing you'd ever see! He is such a blessing to our little family. He is still very calm, peaceful and laid back. He rarely cries and is well adjusted to formula. I am happy to not be the cow anymore--although I do still have quite a bit of baby weight left to loose! =) He really isn't doing any tricks yet.... he coo's and giggles and smiles like crazy! He is a very happy little boy! I love him more and more everyday-it's a very amazing feeling!
I am still working my little heart out-I work 2 days a week in my office and 3 days a week at home. Emerson is cooperating very well with the schedule-but I think Juan is feeling abused! Since having the baby, I feel like I work constantly! I am trying to balance out the work so when Juan is home-I stop working-but sometimes I don't do well with it!
Juan is also working like a mad man! Their work load has really picked up and he is working long hours! We appreciate the extra $, but not the extra time he has to be at work!
I guess that's about all for us..we are still happy, busy, and enjoying life!

I'm lazy

and haven't blogged in like a month! Not ok!
The last month...Emerson has grown a foot I swear! I took him on the 23rd for his 2 month check up and he weighed 13 1/2 lbs and was 24 inches long! He is my giant baby! I love him more and more everyday. He is currently getting eased off of nursing and he's doing fabulously. I made it almost 3 months nursing before throwing in the towel! Yea me!
Other than Emerson growing like a weed....me working tooo much...Juan being Juan and Alex and Pablo getting more and more sassy with eachother and everyone...we're all about the same~
