Well, we did it! We bought a new car! We traded in the Altima and bought something more family friendly. Juan was hoping for a Grand Caravan (hahah j/k) He said we're Mormons and should just buy a mini van! Much to his dismay (j/k), we bought a cute red Nissan Pathfinder, and I think it's safe to say we love it! Alex and Pablo thought it was pretty awesome! Pablo was mostly excited that his car seat was already in it when we brought it home to show the boys! He just kept saying "Yea, my seat!! my seat!!" For anyone looking for a new car, I would highly recommend Ken Garff..they took great care of us!
Also, this one is for you mom..even though she may never read this...I took out my nose bedazzlement! Juan informed me yesterday that I am so beautiful and don't need a sparkle in my nose, and quite frankly I was tired of getting boogers on it! Sick I know, but it's the complete honest truth!

We moved!
It's true..we moved on the 15th of this month. And I think it's safe to say we love our new apartment. I wish it was a house, but as far as apartments go it's pretty great! I bought a couch and love seat this week, as well as a dining room table and 4 chairs. We are also gettng a washer and dryer in the next little bit too! I feel so big!
We are happy to be moved, and are loving Riverton! We are hopefully going to buy a house out in that area at the end of the summer.
Things for us, other than moving, are just the same! I love my new job, and Juan is enjoying his job.
The boys are doing ok..we haven't seen them much. Their mom is just a joy! Uck...she is such a joke! I can't find one kind word or thing to say about her! We were supposed to have them for Easter and she never showed up with them. I sure hope that this game and wild ride we're on ends soon. It's getting old!

Kid's Mom...Uck!
Well in true crazy person form..the kid's mom has once again thrown us for a loop! We met with a mediator on a Friday, and were to get all the paperwork signed and turned in to the court on the following Wednesday. The kids mom called me Wednesday and said " I am not going to sign anything, not going to cancel the $800 X month child support case..nothing..I don't want to settle because I want the money and that's what matters!" I calmly proceeded to tell her what a jerk she was, and it was apparent she had no concern for the welfare and well being of her children. She said "So what! I don't care!!" She then proceeded to tell me she will be taking us back to court, and I said oh ok great. She is a jerk!
I am trying to find a soft spot in my heart for this ignorant woman, but am finding it harder and harder.
That night the bishop from church came over randomly and talked to Juan and I for a long time about trials, and why we never know why we have to go through them but what stronger people come from difficult trials. Juan and I both felt really defeated, and heart broken because we had made up our minds not to see the kids again until we have court orders.
So, right after the bishop left the mediator from Friday called me. I told him the Mom had changed her mind, and we didn't know what else to do. He said he could not give me legal advice, but that we should turn the paperwork in with out the moms signature. He said it can go to ways-either the judge just signs off on what we all agreed to, or the judge will call for a hearing. Either way-it won't be a bad option I guess. So Juan and hurried and got the mediator paperwork together, along with some other documentation, and I turned it in to the court this morning. The mediator, as well as the court clerk, told me we should know something in about a week.
So...please pray for us, and the boys! We need these court orders so badly! We need to put a stop to the games their Mom insists on playing! I know that in time, this will pass and it will all work out, but for now it sure sucks!!

Mediator Appointment
Well...we did it! I have Carmen on my side, and Juan does whatever...and we all sat down with a mediator on Friday! And...I am happy to report it went blissfully well! No yelling, screaming, blaming, fighting...nothing! Carmen agreed on everything, and we got everything out in the open. We have finally reached a resolution and I think we can finally find peace in our lives. Carmen told Juan that if the kids are sick, or have functions at school she wants me to come because I am a part of their life also. She agreed to everything we presented her with, and we did the same. We all agreed that this is for the boys, not the adults involved. Those boys mean the world to everyone involved, and we need to grow up and realize that! Carmen has made such a turn around, and become a different person in the last month. And I also, have changed so much in regards to her. I think somehow my Heavenly Father has softened my once heardened heart towards that woman. I have been able to be kind and gentle with her, rather than angry and hateful. I know that with God all things are possible, and I truly know that my Heavenly Father loves me and is guiding our little family. I also know that Heavenly Father is so aware of my little family, and most importantly me.
So, in about a week or so, if things go as planned, we should have actual legal documentation of what was agreed upon at our mediation appointment! Juan said there will be a large dinner to celebrate the momentous occasion!
